Kathy was born and raised in southern Saskatchewan. Her family moved to Red Deer when she was a teenager and she has been in Alberta for the most part since then.  

Kathy attended Brigham Young University and then moved back to Alberta where she completed the Radiation Therapy Technology program from Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary. She has worked in the medical field for the entirety of her career until recently and was working as an office manager and administrator for an endocrinologist office in Calgary prior to joining LETOURNEAU LLP. 

Kathy and her husband are the parents of five wonderful daughters and 16 grandchildren. Most of her spare time is spent with them or traveling. She has always believed that travel is the best form of education. She and her husband love the outdoors and spend a lot of time hiking and exploring. 
 
Some of her other loves are cooking, playing board games with her grandchildren and reading. Kathy enjoy music and going to plays whenever she can.
