John practices largely in the areas of personal injury, wills and estate litigation, and general civil litigation. When dealing with personal injury matters, John emphasizes early treatment for his clients to ensure their healing and to build their case. He is an excellent communicator, ensuring his clients understand exactly what is going on with their matters. 

John articled with a boutique estate litigation and personal injury firm in Calgary, Alberta. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 2018. John also graduated from Brigham Young University in 2013 as the College of Sociology valedictorian.

John is an Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), an international association of lawyers, accountants, and other trust and estate experts. He has received his Certificate in Trust & Estate Administration with Distinction from STEP.

John is also a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association. 

Outside the office, John enjoys writing and is involved in the local writing community. John is usually found enjoying a good book, singing, hiking, or spending time with his family.
