Experience and Credentials
Adam is a King's Counsel, Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb.), and Chartered Mediator (C.Med.). He is appointed to the Alberta Labour Relations Grievance Arbitration Roster and the Alberta Labour Relations Grievance Mediator Roster and serves on a number of adjudicative tribunals and rosters, including the Alberta Board of Reference, the Otipemisiwak Métis Government Judicial Tribunal, the CPA Alberta Discipline and Appeal Tribunals Roster, and the General Insurance Council.
Before expanding his practice as an arbitrator, mediator, and adjudicator, Adam practiced extensively as litigation counsel, appearing before courts, administrative tribunals, and adjudicative bodies across Alberta. He also represented claimants in the Indian Residential Schools Independent Assessment Process and participated in hundreds of adjudication hearings.
Adam taught labour and employment law, collective bargaining negotiations, and business law as an adjunct professor at the University of Lethbridge Dhillon School of Business from 2016 to 2024. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Dispute Resolution from University College London.

Beyond the Office:
Outside of practice, Adam values time with his wife, five children, and one grandchild, and staying active through cycling, motorcycling, and travelling.
